I raced 10th scale oval for bout 10 years.....Just got way to expensive....$200 battery packs. Cutting armatures on motors.....PCM radios before most guys had them. Heck I even had a trailer to haul my shop around. I had Associated 10lso, spectres, TRINITYS...... plus a couple of my own designs. I got tired of never having any money so I quit racing. I did have a couple of sponsors. I messed with the 10th scale gas truck racing but didnt really enjoy it. Gas was a pain in the neck.

My son is starting to get interested he is 6 so who knows I might have to start again.

I've got an RC10B2 buggy and an RS4PRO touring car. Never got into racing, but they are some fun toys, and expensive too.

Nice glider Mdm! I gave up the winch for steep rocky cliffs. Point Fermin being closest, and Torrey Pines being one of my favorites. At the end I was flying straight wing planes, vacuum molded fuses, in the 13-15 pound range. My last one was my favorite, the F22 raptor..

I have one of ten remote controlled paragliders ever made. Nearly a fife foot wingspan and a little aluminum "Paradude".

I don't fly it much though as I fly paragliders and would prefer to be in the air rather than putting batteries in that make believe stuff.

I do have some intrest in the new micro choppers and indoor micro planes though. Does KMART still sell parakeets?

Oh Yea, Lots of interest : )

I race anything RC and also take part in the Tamiya TCS race series. We have several racing venues around the Chicagoland are.

The Collection:
Tamiya 415, Tamiya TB02R, Tamiya EVO III & EVO IV, Losi xxxS, Schumacher Mi2, HPI R40, Mugen MRX3, Serpent 835, CRC 3.2R, Kyosho ZX5, AE T4, Hyper 7 PRO, Savage.

If the wife knew how much $$ has been spent, I'd be in big trouble.

Would anyone be interested in buying my T-Maxx? I bought it a couple years back and just haven't had enough time to play with it. It's only had a little over a gallon of gas ran through it. Anyone interested?

Wow... RC. This is bringin back some memories. I was into it for a while, had an Associated 10L, and one of the first 10GT's.

Fun times, but pricey. Gave it up when I started driving real cars. The money just seemed better spent when I could feel the results in the seat of my pants.
