Just picked up the Corsa III rear from my local dealer, now just waiting on the front!! This tire sure is light, and STICKY!! I mean even cold, unmounted, sitting in the garage it is actually a bit sticky to the touch. Now I know it has mold realease on it, but is that stuff sticky too?? Pirelli even goes so far as to "groom" the tire, nipping off all the little nubbies usually left on by other manufacturers (in my experiences anyway). Cant wait to get the front and get the set mounted and broken in!!! Bruce | ||

So has anyone actually gotten thier front in yet? I mailed the paperwork yesterday, expecting it to be at Pirelli monday morning when. Form says 4-6 weeks... Is that fairly accurate? Merlyn | ||

4-6 weeks?! Oh crap. I was hoping I'd get mine before my track day on labor day. Looks like I'll be buying another set of tires in a week or two. | ||

Cant wait to get the front and get the set mounted and broken in!!! Let us know how you get on with them. My 2CT Pilot Powers are retaining their profile as they wear, which I think is more of a benefit than increased traction on the shoulders. | ||

Got my rear yesterday. I am #31 and the claim status states that my CC was charged for the shipping on the 15th and that I "will receive an email when your tire ships." Three work days after my CC was charged and it still hasn't been shipped? Hmmm. | ||

My claim number is 0070 and my credit card was charged for the free front shipping on 8/15. I have not seen an e-mail indicating it was shipped yet either. My rear should be here tomorrow from BuyMoto according to the FedEx tracking information. | ||

FWIW: When Pirelli ran the 'free front' promotion for the Diablos, it took about 2 weeks for me to get the front tire. That was also in January, which I assume is a slower month for MC tire sales. | ||

When Metzeler (basically the same company) ran their RaceTec offer, it took about 3-4 weeks AFTER my card was charged to get the tire. But hey....it's FREE!!!! okay, it's $25. | ||

My rear getting in on the 22nd from buyMoto. I'm order # 0048. Pirelli charged my card on Monday and I received an email today that my front has shipped but the tracking number they gave me isn't working right now. wait and see I guess | ||

Got my rear today! My claim number on the front is 218 though- going to be a while before I get my front I imagine. That's okay- my old rear only has a line... you can't actually SEE the belts yet :: grin :: Merlyn | ||
