1st question, do I need to remove the pulley from my rear wheel before I bring it in and get a new tire put on and balanced? Second, I bought Pilot Powers because everyone I ride with has them and love them better than any other tire they've owned. Any one put them on their Buell and what's your thoughts. |

I am running pilot powers on my XB9R, no issue's other than it took awhile to find a setup that gave me the handling feel that I wanted. Great tires. You do not need to remove the pulley. |

No need to remove the pulley from the rear wheel; I change my own with the pulley on, just do it from the brake disc side (fronts I do from the side opposite the disc). Plus, you want the pulley on when you balance the wheel. |

I'm running the 2CT compound front and rear and they have so much grip it's incredible. Apart from the usual traction benefits in cornering and braking, the bike also feels really good as you crank it over from one side to the other.

Pilot Powers are a great improvement over the stock Dunlops that come with the XB's Many riders have reported even better handling with the Dunlop Qualifiers. I would include myself in that group. Pirelli has just announced a new tire, the Diablo lll and has a special "free front" deal on them right now. Here is the web site:http://www.diablo.getpirelli.com/ |
