After spending the last 5 days in Michigan's Upper Peninsula camping with the family, the thought of a Uly crossed my mind yet again. The wife and I were thinking of taking our XB's with, but being the campground is about 3 miles off the highway on a gravel road in the National Forest, coupled with her riding a 03 9S and the belt issues, we decided against that idea. Plus our 10 year old Son likes riding with us, but finds my 12S uncomfortable on longer rides. Has a hard time staying centered on the seat. That's also a factor to consider. Plus I grew up on dirt bikes.
That's about as close as I want to get to racing MX again. Just enough to run the logging roads and gravel roads without having a bike were I can get stupid and hurt. I already have the race bike for that.
Anyone here have a S model, got a Uly in replacement or to add to your garage? Do you regret it? Is it worth it? If I were to get a Uly, my 12S would have to go, but I always have the race bike and my Wife's 9S for a change of pace. Any insight would be appreciated.
