I purchased a Laminar Speed Shield for my XB12S and installed it today. What a difference it makes!!!!

It provides for a much smoother ride from a wind perspective and was very easy to install. I got up to 100 and was sitting upright and enjoying the ride.

It's dark now, so a picture wouldn't do it justice. I'll take a couple shots tomorrow and post them.

It cost about $90 including shipping if you're interested.

when removed, does it show any atatch points at the flyscreen?
I want to use it for highway only, but I dont want velcrostrips to be apearing while Im in town.

Yes, it uses a velcro like product to adhere to the flyscreen. It's not overly large, so you may find it OK for around town use too.

Check out their web site "laminarlip.com" for a better picture.

I agree with you, it does make a huge difference. I can't imagine riding without it. I plan on switching over to valencia orange plastic next year from the black. I don't know if I want to move the speed shield over to the new flyscreen. I may just keep it on the black one and switch flyscreens for the long rides.
