Any suggestions on who makes a good weather proof cover for XB?

How much of the bike do you want to cover?

...personally, I really like my Buell XB*R cover, but it only covers the upper portion of the bike (seat, controls, plastics).

If you're looking for something more along the lines of covering it overnight, virtually any generic sportbike cover should work as the XB series is smaller in most dimensions than Japanese sportbikes.

Make sure that any cover you get is breathable to let moisture out from under it.

I keep my bike in the garage, but I have a Geeza cover that I really like.

It's a half cover too, but it does what I need it to do, and I can even tow my bike with it on.

I love my Nelson Rigg Falcon Defender 2000 cover...

I bought a Medium and the hem almost touches the ground, so it covers the wheels like I wanted.

I think this is the Armor Cloak II from Buell. Not sure if they make them anymore. I got for my Blast in '03 but it fits the XB fine. I've seen a few on ebay. Nice heavy waterproof construction.

I want one that covers the entire thing like in Madsx's photo.

It needs to be water proof, and breathable so that it doesn't lock moisture in and rust.

Madsx - Have you noticed any moisture hanging out when you pull the cover off? (I do see you have it indoors, but have you ever tried it out in the rain?)

www.dowco-inc.com

they have all sorts of covers to house your buell and most come with a great warranty, if it rips they replace it..they even have a little 20 dollar alarm thingy for the cover, goes in a special pocket of the cover..

It actually spent every day of last summer outdoors before I made the ramp to get it in the basement last fall. No corrosion to speak of and I never noticed any moisture when I removed it. Oh and its not normally that wrinkled. It had been crumpled in a ball for a while before I put it on for that shot. It was @ $100 when I got it from HD. A bit pricey but it has held up nicely for three years and two bikes. It also has some heat shielding on the inside to protect it from hot exhaust.
