Well, The rally is here, it's stinking hot, the smelly vendors are here with their gross food, crazy bitches, biker gangs, lots and lots of overly expensive beer, rich assholes that think they own the place, dumbasses who rent Harleys and tip over on them! I LOVE IT! I see a lot of the olde tube frames around and many of them are downright awsome! Haven't seen another XB. Got a lot of looks because my bike doesn't really fit in but then they hear it! "cool bike man!" Just thought I would share

hell yeah. I'm a "ride or die" kind of guy. My e-mail is beau24@rushmore.com. I got a phone number from a guy off of here but I lost it. He's staying at Glencoe Campground (fellow XB rider) That would be cool if he had a laptop and wireless so he could check this out. I know the thing to do is ride down Main in Sturgis but I drive an air-cooled bike - that's just stupid. I could take any out of staters on a ride that would have them holding their ass at the end of the day! So beautiful here. Like all the roads are made for corner carvers!

It's been raining for the last 2 days here pretty bad. Good thing I have my full face helmet and rain gear! The XB is great in this weather.

First bad accident on the interstate today. That's why I'm glad I'm a local and ride the backroads! Apparently a semi smeared someone, (ouch) The traffic is ridiculous. I feel sorry for anybody who gets in an accident during the rally because they are usually pretty grusome. Last year a guy was following his wife with the truck and trailer and she wiped out in front of him, he was following too close and you know the rest. Be a defensive driver if you come here is all I can say. Don't act like a tourist. Get the hell off the road if you don't know where you are!
