Any one notice mistakes & errors in there genuine Buell factory parts and service manuals.Or am I just not reading as well as I use to.Seems like some of the references are not on the right pages or diagram number to me.

I thought I had lost my mind too, but the index indicates page numbers while within the context of the sections they reference the article numbers. A little confusing until you figger it out.

I've found a few minor errors in mine, emailed someone about it... no big deal they were easy to figure out, I can't remember what they were exactly now. Most books have a few.

You are likely right.

Before I bough tmy first Sportster (1987-1/2 Hugger 883) I bought and read the manual first. I found 32 errors.

There is a form in the back to detail your findings and get them submitted to Technical Publications.

If you need help, let me know.

Preparing the manuals is a really greuling process due to the time frames involved. It used to take a LONG time after the bikes came out, but is much better now.

Given the speed with which we can now communicate, it's easy to share known glitches.
