took mine off a week after i bought my city x . the only thing you need to worry about is the two nuts on the back side . if you take the seat off you will see them . otherwise they will fall and slide into inconvienient spaces in front of your battery. dont ask how i know jusy catch them before they migrate.

Oh crap... didn't even notice there were nuts! I just assumed the frame was threaded. I wonder if I've lost 'em???

If it's like the S model, one of the bolts on each side hold the plastic battery housing in place.

Yo Adam.

Not to side track this thread, but I just got back from Knowlwoods SCAB meeting. A few of us are planning to hook up at my place to do TPS adjustment - maybe you'd like to join us?

Email me off-line and I'll fill you in one the details

Cheers
-Jack
