Do you think this jack stand would work for the XB since you can jack the stock exhaust?

I have a similar stand but I used several tie downs to secure the bike. I changed my rear tire friday night and it was touch and go for a while. I am going to make an adapter to hold the muffler square to the lift. A rear axle stand would be better!

I have a similar one. The only problem I have is that the exhaust is kind of rounded so you have to attach straps to the pegs to keep it from falling over when lifting both wheels off.

Yes it will work with the Race kit.
As you can see I cut some wood block the same arc as the pipe. Lined it with neoprene and it sticks like glue. I put the straps just in case.

i just have a craftsman one, i have the d & d so i just put it on the stand, jack it up and leave it, no straps or anything. but it has a nice flat plate on the pipe. those jacks are so worth the money, makes it all easier, even just cleaning the rims it is nice.
