Hello Buellies,

This new cherry airbox has a vent on the front of it that I guess I am not utilizing with my airlid underneath it not having holes in it. Should I drill me some holes in the cleaner lid to get more air flowing? Seems a waste to not utilize the extra opportunity for air flow. I guess for simplicity I could just order the lid. May not be very expensive. I'll call Daves but I think he is on vacation.

Hey KYbueller, you can cut you box to be very similar to the factory setup. It has been done many times before, check the KV for more info.

I am thinking of cutting extra holes in my '06 airbox to emulate the '07 but I am worried about making more induction noise.

I can't understand how Buell could have done it and still passed the noise tests?
