Has anyone spaced the right side out a little more? Using aluminum spacers. 250.00 plus for a carbon right side air scoop is just to much. The stock left side only cost $30.00.

I did. Had to trim a slit at the rear bolt hole to get it to fit right but it can be done. mine is only out about an inch and a half. Oh yeah, and longer bolts on the front.

I was contemplating doing the same exact thing. The big question is does it work?

be carefull not to space out too far on the front so as to make the rear twist and hit the rear header and burn on.

just check the clearence all round before you start.

Tried this today. I got the front of the scoop about out around 1 to 1.5 inches away from the frame. Rode it and didnt notice a difference at all. I think it was beter they way it came form factory. Oh well I had to try it for myself.
