Does anyone know anyone in Paris????

I stopped here on the way home from Turkey for a few days and I wouldn't mind hooking up with a local to show me some cool nightlife.

Just thought I would give this a try.

I also posted in the Quick Board

Thanks,
Damnut

I'm here till Sunday. I have a flight at 11 on Sunday morning. How far is it to Germany? I don't know if I should chance going there and trying to get back for my flight. what do you think?

Sounds like fun though.

I was working in Turkey and had a layover here in Paris. Since my work paid for the airfare I decided to make my layover last 4 days. I love my job. I didn't rent a car and I am next to the metro which can bring me where ever I want to go.

IF you rented a car you should be able to hop on A6 I think and head straight to me. I am leaving for Buell-Day early Saturday morning, and returning Saturday night, as I work at 4am.

If you want you could head here friday night, (here would be Landstuhl or Kaiserslautern) and crash here (no bed.. but an air mattress) and I can drive to the Buell Day, and then you depart late saturday night via train back to Paris.

Not too sure how expensive tickets would be though.

oh... we have a futon! haha... so a lil better than an air mattress maybe, depending on your tastes.

Didn't see this the first time, sorry. You can stay at my house if you'd like. The wife is going to be gone this weekend anyways. I could pickup/dropoff at the Train Station if you would like.

If you wanted an actual room... I would have to sign you on base (in which I am supposed to escort you around, because I get in trouble if you F-up). It would be easier if you just slept on my futon or air mattress. By easier I mean less risky for me... unless you are a serial killer.

I think I'd be pushing it trying to do all that driving in one day. That's all I need is to fall asleep at the wheel and meet up with this guy--->

If I was here longer I would definitely hook up and go with you. I would rent a bike or car as this guy does not ride b*tch. (Sorry ladies it's just a figure of speech I don't think of you that way.........really)

My bike is down at the moment - Refer to Ford Windstar Reverses into Lightning thread and the more recent - insurance nightmare thread (both in XBoard)

I would be driving my rental Audi.
You could come earlier if you'd like... up to you. But you'd have to leave before 330AM sunday as I have to be at work a little after. If you want to hash out details my number is {dial this if within germany..ask hotel people for country code} 06371-612247.

No problem, enjoy France... it is nice, and the people are just as nice and courteous as anywhere else.

Have a safe flight home.
