Does anyone here know if the direct link software can also be used to reset tps and scan engine codes?

The basic setup does just that. The advanced version adds the capability to remap.

the direct link indeed does tps resets a/f resets, and can remap/install any map you wish, and install it to "your" ecm, as long as you have the software cd. (the "key" becomes "locked" to your ecm the first time using the software). as far as scan engine codes..i will have to look to say yes for sure. i can post when i get home as i will be sending a new map into the bike tonight.

EDIT:
i'm not aware of the basic version/advanced version.....i believe it is just one version.

you need the key no matter what(can send ecm to get "reflashed" if you dont want to buy software/cables) and then there is the option to buy the software/cables so you can do all the features direct link has to offer.a/f resets, tps resets, accell tables etc..etc..

Thanks Firebolteric, I've kicking around the idea of purchasing the software. My brother in-law has an xb12r as well and it would be nice to tune both of our bikes. Thanks again for the info.

I thought there was some features that the Direct link did not do compare to their other software for doing tps resets etc. ??? Not sure

Or the direct link does ALL and just more as far as the software is concerned?
