Hey all, first I'll say that Blake I will put this is the KV also but I just wanted to get a quick answer.

Last week I got a VDSTS and reset my TPS because it needed it and it worked great but i had a slight hesatation between 3 and 4 grand but it seamed to happen only under hard acceleration and in first gear, I wasnt that worried about it, but friday night I went out on it and the sky opened up on me and on the way back home I realised that the idle did not want to settle back to the 1200 range like it should but would stick at 2000 for up to a min before it would drop back down. So last night I thougth I might have screwed up the tps reset so I did it again. took it out today and the hesatation is gone, awesome, but the sticking at 2000 rpm is still there , damit. What do you all think it could be? The Air Fuel Valve setting?
thank you all in advance

From my experience your idle could be set too high. Try setting it to 1000rpm or a bit lower and perhaps reset the TPS again afterwards (I'm not sure if that's necessary though). I had the same problem and this is what the dealer did to fix it.

Try setting the idle a little lower, 1050rpm.
I had the same problem and by lowering the idle it went away.
Make sure the engine is hot when setting the idle.

thanx alot, I reset the idle right after the TPS reset and I really didnt give it time to warm up, I will try that tommorow. Maybe I'll reset the Tps again, run it around the block then set the idle to where is should be. that sound like a good idea?

and from my experience with this- make darn sure the throttle is complety closed and *sticking* in the throttle housing before you hit the "reset TPS" button- if in doubt-check their website or the "KV"- good luck

DS_tiger. You want to make sure it is stuck? I didn't think that was go so I reset it just about stuck. I got to full stuck closed and just cracked it off of stuck before I reset it. I will make sure its stuck and try again.

Tq_freak, Don't just drive it around the block till it warms up.
Make sure its hot (fan on) when you adjust the idle.
