I bought my Uly in Nevada, but it has California emission stuff on it. Any idea how much HP/torque I'm losing? How many parts make up this 'package'? Any ideas on how to remove it? My local dealer said they could remove it, but only after I bought the bike. This makes no sense because I live in Nevada, how can they be tied by California's laws? I shudder at how much my dealer would charge to do it... |

Back in the day we would just pull off the cans, plug a couple of holes and gain ten horsepower. I doubt the ULY is losing ten horses because of it though. |

should just be a charcoal canister. that routes fuel vapors from your tank vent to the intake manifold. you should be able to remove the canister, and the hose to the intake and put a cap on the intake. That's it. ***Remember to route the vent hose down and away from anything hot!*** |
