I picked up a Cycle World last night and they had an article about their long term test of an XB12S. They like it a lot and went on an on about how much better of a bike the XB is than any other Buell that they have ever tested. They basically said that Buell has redeemed themselves for all of the unreliable bikes they made previously with the XB series. Something about Buell has made a strong move towards the upper crust of motorcycle manufacturers and they hope to see it continue!

Awesome! I'll have to pick up the issue.

The XB was my first voyage into the Buell world. Were the tubers really that unreliable? How about a history lesson on that. My XB has for sure been reliable for me. Much more attitude and fun than my Suzi's ever were.

I bought that issue. It was good to see a buell article. I go to the magazine stand every month to look through the cycle mags for buell articles. I usually end up buying cycle world even though there isn't a buell story to be found. I wish there was a good american sportbike mag out there. I need buell porn to get me through the week.

those guys preface every single sentence about an XB with a full paragraph diatribe about how bad the last tube frame they tested sucked. other then Kevin Cameron, the magazine is a waste of the 83 cents they charge.

I found that in poor form myself. I still like the rag though. Will miss Steve Anderson's contributions though.

I was really apprehensive about buying Buell after reading about the tube frames and seeing what happened with my friend's Cyclone. but I've been very happy with my XB firebolt.
