Alright, I ordered the Cherry Bomb airbox cover and flyscreen from Daves. I can't wait. I think it will look good with my black wheels and I think what little bit of blue trim is left from the X will look good. I thought a change would be nice. Talk to you guys soon. Greg M. | ||

If they'd do a translucid body set for the firebolts I'd consider a second set of bodywork myself. I can't figure why they wouldn't do it, except for the complexity of the upper fairing mold. | ||

I got the 07 cherry bomb coming too. The black and cherry bomb firebolt is set to be delivered in a few weeks. I can't wait! Thanks again Erik!!! | ||

Kybueller, Yeah I won the bike in a helmet contest..you may have heard about it a while back on the badweb. Anyway they are sending me the one I wanted (Black/Cherry Bomb). The only thing better then getting a new 07 Firebolt to match my Lightning is a free 07 Firebolt! Woooo I can't wait. | ||

Angel- Not sure about production of the helmet for the masses. But they are making me one and Erik will autograph it. I will have it sitting in a glass case but it would be nice to have one to wear on the bike as well. | ||

Thanks Buckstar for the nice comments! Another benefit of this prize is that Erik has contacted me directly to give his personal congratulations and now I can communicate directly with him and other VP's at Buell. So if you want to start the thread be my guest. I don't want to bother him for a few opinions but if you get enough support I can make him aware. Not sure if the costs vs profit margin would be enough to start production but no harm in making them aware of the interest in the design. |
