Hi all,

Looking at lowering an XB12X - would a set of '04 12R forks work in the front (41mm), retaining the stock 12X wheel & lower tree clamp? I'm assuming (???) that the S/R forks are the same as the Ss of the same year?

I believe I would be going with a Ss rear shock / seat assy.

Any help with this would be appreciated...

They should be the same length as long as they are not the scg version.

I've never checked it myself, but I'm sure someone could check the part numbers
between the 06 Ss and a regular 06 S. That would be the acid test.
