I'm going to have to ride over to KC and whack you guys with my cane aren't I?

I've got a couple you wouldn't want me to thump you with ;)

But all you'd have to do is walk away fairly quickly
but at least i can turn to the left!

ok that just bad ass. I have hope now. have you changed and preload settings. I made it a little stiffer on the rear and the bike would come up a whole lot easier. But i am getting beat to death so i softened back up

You guys really are trying to give me ulcers.

I know it's been hot, but mesh gear is really affordable and will be worth their weight in gold if you do crash.
Ok maybe not gold, titanium would probably be on the mark for this crowd, that or Carbon Fiber.

I really do worry about people that I know, and I'm getting to know a lot of you at least a little, that ride without their gear.

The jacket you left in the closet could save your life.

The gloves that are in the jacket's pockets could save your hands.

That only works if you wear them.

Now where did I leave those tums?

Didn't mean to upset you stomach Diablo. Those pics are in front of my house and in the parking lot behind it. My girlfriend needed to burn some shots to get a roll developed. Next time I'll wear the 2-piece for ya!

Hey, if I didn't care it wouldn't matter to me and i wouldn't say anything.

It's one of my crusades. I know I'm tilting at windmills to a certain extent,
but you know how it goes. Some days you eat the ba'r....

Smokey, lookin pretty good...now you just need to get up to the balance point a little more so you can slow it down, and maybe even take a hand off the grip!

Txfatcat, didn't even think of adjusting the suspension for wheelies, just tuned it like usual. I may have let a little air outta my rear to about 28psi but that's about it.

Tried a tank spreader a few days ago in 2nd gear successfully! Bike felt like it was runnin better than usual, or maybe I was just pissed off cause I got a ticket earlier that night for the same thing...

Diablo. Not a bad crusade. I have seen several riders over the years go to a trauma center because of the shock casued by really bad road rash. They might have been ok with some gear on.

thgat being said I felt a little squidly only wearing my Jeans + leather jacket, touring boots, full gauntlet gloves and a helmet. It was well over 100 degrees for many hours of riding.

I sure envied the guys I saw in t-shirts and shorts though............. but not enough to loose the gear.

I plan on a full set of custom Kevlar mesh with the gortex winter liners for this winter.

Sounds like a good plan. Is motoport still in the north-county area? (San Diego County)

Don't worry. I was wearing mesh when I took those pics.
