Just run the Jardine without the ECM until you get the filter. I have had my alum. Jardine on since February and not a hint of trouble except for some popping on hard deceleration. Then put the air filter and ecm on at the same time. If the Buell filter is back ordered, just cancel the order and get a K&N. You can get them on eBay for around $40-45 bucks shipped and the newer Buell one isn't even a K&N. It's a chinese-type knock off.

it pops because it runs EXTREMELY LEAN....the bikes come lean from the factory because epa crap. i don't want the lean situation. i was wondering if it would run too lean because the race map calls for more fuel and air, but it would only be giving it more fuel NOT air flow, see what i'm saying....i understand you tho, thanks, brad

I'd put the ECM on. The Jardine creates a VE curve somewhat like the race can but a little more pronounced as I recall. The race ECM should help once the AFV settles out.

You'll need to reset the TPS when you install it of course.

I'd install the ECM with the Jardine. Be sure to get your tps reset.

You'll just have to be sure to do the 10min at 3500 rpm afv set first w/ the factory
filter, and then again with the race air filter. No big deal, gives you an excuse to get
out and ride more!;)

definately use the ecm...very lean condition will exist...do you really want to take a chance of breaking the motor over a 200.00 part? better yet..save your money and get the direct link...that is the BEST way to go IMHO
