I took my wheels off today and got some Pilot Powers installed....when I'm putting the rear wheel back on the axle seems to go in really tight.

I put it on and then removed it to make sure that I didn't cross thread it. I can torque it correctly too. Is that normal? I guess I'm just being paranoid since that was the first time getting the wheels off

Did you use anti-sieze on the axle? If your belt is tight the axle will be tight as well.

Yep completely normal as long as it gets tight when approaching the end. (You should be threading it in for a while before it starts getting snug) Also be sure to put anti seize on the axle threads as they have been known to bind up. Congratulations on the skins. I've got a set myself.

Yup I did use anti-seize on the axle

It was weird I put it in the first time when the bike was on the rear stand it was pretty tight from the beginning and then I took it out and just used the jack point on the exhaust and it seemed to go in easier..

I love the tires had them on my CBR before

If I took off the tensioner I would never get it back on! The new belt is frigging tight. I had to use a prybar to lever the wheel straight enough to get the flanged end of the axle into the swingarm.
