fitted some crg shorty levers to an xb12r 06 model last weeekend and at an the very end of a full lock turn noticed the clutch and the front brake levers are binding on the frame struts for the front panel / windscreen - even on minimum settings.

as the parts look and are labelled as being correct and the frame is standard and not war[ed in any way i'm at a loss to explain - anyone else come across this one before?

My cables rub a little at full lock. The throttle cable simply slides a bit on the front fairing mount at the bottom portion. The clutch cable pulls a very slight amount at extreme full lock but it simply takes up the slack in the cable and is not so tight as to actuate the clutch very much.

I would run the bike in neutral and turn lock to lock to make sure the throttle cables are not moving such that your idle changes. If your clutch cable is not drum tight at full left lock then you should be okay.

Try adjusting the position of the levers on the bar by sliding it up/down/left/right to see if that helps. I have mine as far in-board as they will go as that happens to be my preference.

When I installed my CRG's they actually hit the fairing at full lock.
I loosened the housings a little bit and just slid it over a tiny amount.
Now they don't touch the fairing and the cables don't bind.
