03 Lightning coming back from a long run engine light was coming on and off. It had no driveability issues so I kept running. Get it home jump the diag connector per the manual flash out a CODE 44 Bank Angle Sensor. Start to pin out the harness and find that the sensor is at fault. Ride down to Precision and purchase the sensor. Get home plug and play and to find out the light was still on. Now a few $$$ lighter re-run selftest same code same finding bad sensor. Start tracing circuit back from the sensor to ECU. Ended up finding to the left of the battery the sensor signal wire LTGN/GY shorted against the undertray metal bracket. Just wanted to give people a mental reminder about that damn 2% rule. Being 2% smarter than the book and tools your using. FRANK
