Having been badly let down just before the start of the race season by a major sponsor dropping out at the last minute, we now find ourselves in a situation where we desperately need a sponsor or sponsors to help us finish the season. The race bike was built and the team put together with the sponsor package agreed, so a large slice of our racing budget was spent on purely building it. The sponsor cash was going to fund the day to day expenses of running the bike all year such as tyres, fuel etc. As the sponsor bottled out we have funded both the build and the running, which so far is way above our original race budget for the entire year. We now need to find a sponsor or sponsors to help us finish the rest of the inaugaral UK Thunderbike season (Pembrey, Brands Hatch, Lydden). As most of you know, we have already had one podium finish this year at Mallory and looked set for another at Snetterton until the chain came off. With Phil Read riding we know that another podium finish is ours for the taking at the remaining rounds of the Thunderbike series. We will also enjoy some very good coverage coming in the September onwards issues of Performance Bikes.
