Dunlop Qualifiers and there thoughts. I'm either doing Pilot powers or the new Dunlops. Figured I'd get some thoughts.

Qualifiers are ok on dry pavement. ANY moisture and you'll hate them.

If you like your bikes handling dont go with a 190. Turns your very nimble bike into a unpredictable one. Or so I have read. Most people agree that its a bad idea unless you just tool around and look cool.

Cant comment on the Qualifiers

Gentleman_Jon swears by the Qualifiers, he switched from metzlers, either m3 or m1, to
the Qualifiers and he is very happy with them. I don't think anyone has had a set long
enough to really know what kind of mileage to expect from them.

I'm thinking about Dunlop 220's for my next set - more of a Sport/Touring tire with a good rain worthy looking tread.

I've been running the qualifiers for about 2000 miles now and I love them. Great response, good feedback and great traction, I rode them in the rain a couple of days ago and they felt fine. I'll put another set on when these are done, oh yeah and the price was good on them too.

I believe sportrider did a tire shootout last year with the qualifier and pilot powers being the top performers. The only negative remark they had about the qualifier was its lack of durability.

I think the Metz M3's, Qualifiers and Pilot Powers are the tires to have atm. Sport-rider didn't have any M3's with their shoot out as they weren't out yet. I love mine. pretty close to the same feel as the M1's but a bit more grip, mostly felt with the front wheel... Gotta love it. More front end plant is always good ;).
