I am going on a trip and plan on taking my XB9S with me. I will be hauling it in my enclosed Triton trailer, when strapping it down, will it hurt anything by putting the tie-downs on the handlebars like you do a dirt-bike ? Do any of you racers have a better way when you trailer to the races ?

Cheers !

I use extension straps to attach to the handlebar and attach these to the hooks. That way the hooks wont mar up the handlebars. This is how I hauled my Buell in the back of my Avalanche. No problems.

It would be better to wrap your straps around the triple tree and fork junctions. It's structurally stronger there and there's no chance of bending the handlebars or forcing them out of position.

Thats a canyon dancer, the best way to go. Can get them through dave or your dealer or ??? where ever. Also you can put a d ring hook in where your passenger rear sets go then strap down the rear.

I'd tie the front down to the lower triple clamp instead of the handlebar. This may not work with some straps though because they will need to go shorter than some will allow. Soft straps or tie down extensions as they're referred to sometimes will be necessary to strap this way.
