Anyone use this device to reset their AFV to 100 and reset their TPS? I'm thinking about getting it along with my mods so can do this myself as I don't want to trust my local mech (no offense to any good Mech's it's just slim pickins out here!) Thanks folks!

Sweet! Thanks man, sounds like folks have used it so it must work (ie-no complaints), sounds easy enough too...

My bike seems to be off since the 1000 mile, either done wrong or it "learned" differently as my driving style changed. I've also read here where sometimes it takes a couple of resets to get it right so I think getting one of the tools is a good idea.
The price difference from that to Direct Link isn't ALL that much... I mean if the Digital tech were $50 I wouldn't spring since I don't plan to re-map but at $200 I might buy DL instead, just in case. Then you can do it all (but only re-map yours due to the "key"). I'm going to try and stop by American Sport Bike this week and decide. Then I can do resets for people around Marin (home) or Fremont (work) as needed.

The DL I see on American Sport Bike is $348, the Vehicle Diagnostic Scan Tool for Windows is only $195, and does from what I've heard, all you need, TPS reset, and AFV reset... Advice I was givin was that re-mapping yourself can be risky/tricky and you should really have the bike on a dyno to do it right... Seems like just resetting the TPS and AFV would be all is necessary especially if you get a Race ECM mapped from Al! Do I sound crazy or make sense anyone?

Go with VDSTS to do resets and trouble shoot. DIrect link is used to re-map though I believe it does resets as well. I have VDSTS and if VDSTS were not available I would sell my bike! It is as important as the front wheel to me!
