well last night went out practicing. Been weelieing 2nd n 3rd standups for months, verry comfterable with em and basically can do 1/4-1/2 mile in my sleep. Till i decided to slow things down a bit.. 10mph in 1st verry touchy. Ended up looping over backwards, luckily frame pucks scuffed up and dirtbike bars bent down and right side pegs broke but nothing else, screatched up tail section decent but glad nothing major. Suprised at how it all held up. Me wearing helmet, gloves, and high end leather jacket just got scuffed on hip and knee. But still a drag... friends now say im a friendly flipper.

Glad you and your bike had gear on.
10mph wheelies would take a chain drive and a big ol' sprocket I'd think.

I would think that if you wanted to practice wheelies it would be done on a "junker" like an older Jap. dual sport.

I also like to goof off now and then on my bikes but I use one of my junker bikes and leave my nice new $12,000 bikes for sensible riding.

My two cents!

David

Glad you were using your head and wearing your gear!

These XB's are surprisingly tough, you'd think a racer was behind the design;)

need some advice. Stock pegs are 21$ a pc. i need right side front and passanger... is it worth going aftermarket and buying full set all around... dont want to spend too much money... And i was looking at the renthal ultra low bars that were on american sportbike.com and they look decent. I had FLY handlebars on there i paid like 40 for em. The were a nice feel but i think if i went with some higher end ones they wouldnt have bent over soo easily. Just wondering what pple think
