kinda new here and have a few questions if i post this in the wrong sec im sorry just direct me
i have 04 xb12r with 11000 miles all service done on schedule with race ecm and open air{i think} jardine rt one can only run high octane and syn three i get some sever pinging when she is hot and a rap the throttle in almost any gear and of course it is one of those cant reproduce problems that happens to me almost every time i am looking for a cause/solution and am i damaging my bike i am 320 and ride the hell out of her... that being said i am also looking for more power in the full rpm range{arnt we all} and am not sure what else i can do i would also like some tried and tested axle sliders for front and rear so any suggestions would be appreciated thanks all

DHM Axle Sliders... Look under the "Sponsor" section.

For Power refer to the exhaust shootout.
Again, go to the sponsor section, then go to the home site of American Sportbike and there should be a link to it there.

For the pinging problem retard the static time a bit.
Bad advise, the ECM will try to compensate, been there, done that, didn't work.
1)Get a cooler spark plug.
2)Have ECM reset (some people call this a TPS reset, but that's only part of the job).
3)Make sure to use quality gas.
4)Never "romp" on the gas while under 4000rpm.
