does anyone out there have any experience first hand with the special ops fender eliminator? it's $150 instead of $330 or so from american sportbike (and they have some really quality products and great costumer service, by the way) so, i'm basically wondering what paying half the amount gets me? anyone? |

Yes, purchased (with swap of mine of course) and very happy with quality of craftsmanship. Def would not buy one for $330, Special OPS will back up his work |

cool, thanks for the input. does his deal mean i have to mail in my tail section first, and in effect be out of riding for a week or two while it gets re-worked and shipped back? or can i order a new one and THEN ship in my old one? |

Call him. I can't say for sure how he does his tail pieces, probably needs yours as a core and he may or may not have one that he can send to you. Go over to the 3% section under the storm fronts, that is where he hangs out at. |

He probably has one he can swap out for you. I really like mine. Click my name for a side view. Had him paint mine frame grey to match all my other paint work. my .02 TK |

Odie's design is very clever, nicely made, reasonably priced, and Odie is a very nice guy. Can't go wrong really.

If he has one in stock already done he'll usually ship it to you, requiring you to take your old one off and ship it back...thus you're not down any length of time. |

Odie did one for me. Either way I'm sure he will work with you.
