I am removing my TFI unit and when I reconnected the factory wires the sockets that connect onto the front and rear injectors seem to be a bit loose. So much that one wire socket doesnt seem to stay on much at all and will simply come back off with a simple touch, the other a bit better but certainly not on firm enough to stay there long. On the sides of these fittings are a clip that fits over the small raised portion on the injector part of connection and these seem to have become very weak. The plugs are pushed on firmly and in place but will no longer hold themselves there.
Any ideas on what to try here - I have actually reconnected the TFI as the piggy back plugs it uses seem to fit these plugs firm still.
I guess I could cable tie them in place but that may not last with vibration, to get new connectors fitted might be more than the money lost on not selling the TFI and leaving as is.
BTW - I notice on the injector connector sockets that they have the FORD emblem on them! (not related just found it odd to have ford parts)

If a "Zip tie" or well placed silicone will fix it. Go for it, anything else is more than likely going to be expensive.....Charlie
