Where is the ECM located on a XBR. I understand it to be under the seat on a XBS but I'm not sure on the R's. Also, how hard is it to swap out and what would I have to remove? If I forgot to ask anything else pertinent, please throw it in as well. Cheers!}

Its under the headlight assembly under the front fairing. It's not too hard to swap out. You'll have to remove the blinkers, then take out the bolts that hold the fairing to its mount. Just have a good look around the fairing at what holds it on. There aren't any hidden or non-obvious fasteners that I recall.

There are the blinkers on both sides, the mirrors on both sides and the bottom 2 bolts that go in by the windscreen go through to the mount, so a total of 8 bolts/nuts and it's off (2 per mirror)

one more thing. if you are going to swap it out yourself, you are still going to have to get the tps reset in order for it to run right. it probably wont even stay started without applying gas unless you get it reset.
