Author Message   Buelllightening Posted on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 - 04:31 am:        Any body Know how to restore the gold header coating on my ulysses,my friend hung his Jacket on my handlebars and the lining ended up burnt on the headers,aftr removing it carefully it has taken some of the plating off.any ideas ? Magnets generally do not stick to stainless steel. He was asking about how to restore the original finish... not get a different finish... In any case... I'm not sure there's a "plating" on it as such. Anony could probably answer that though.
