I just bought my 03 XB9s. I love the bike but have a question about the pegs. They are cast with a rubber top side but they arent spring loaded. I have never had a bike with floppy pegs. Is this normal or did someone take them off? I am planning on changing the pegs but not right now. | ||

Do they look like this? Buell Traction Pegs. (accessory item)  This is the stock pegs for a Lightning:  Either way they should have a spring. | ||

Those pegs in the bottom pic are the stock pegs for a lightning "low" I think. The regular lightning has pegs just like the "R". | ||

Wrong. All Lightning models have the drop down pegs, there is no difference in the pegs on a Low (cg) or standard Lightning. | ||
