Guys,

I'm thinking it's time for an aftermarket pipe. The Buell Race pipe is no longer available so I'm down to D&D or Jardin.

Could you guys please provide feedback on two fronts?

1. Sound
2. Performance

I love the sound of my current pipe (a modified stock pipe) but I don't know if it's hindering my performance. Since I've started upgrading from stock (modification of stock pipe, K&N air intake, Race ECM) I seem to have lost significant low end power, specifically 2nd gear.

Thanks in advance for your input!

Brent

If you want to get your midrange and low end power back you will probably want to go with the D&D. The Jardine is more of a top end type of pipe. Check out the shootout results at American Sport Bike to get all of the specs on the pipes avaiable. If you are going to spend the money for a D&D you might also think about a Drummer and a couple of the other pipes in the shootout. Go through all 94 pages of the PDF for the shootout, and you're decision will probably be made by the time you're finished.
