Race ECM on a 12 will alleviate the check engine light!!

They are otherwide the same on a 12, once reprogrammed and mapped properly to the bike and exhaust, as you can adjust the fuel map AS WELL as the timing map, which used to be the race ECM advantage, just a bit.

Had many long talks with AL about this exact issue, and if you build the servo emulator found elsewhere on this site, they would have no other advantage over the other.

You need to find a dealer that does Direct Link remapping, and it will NOT be cheap, since not only are you buying the tuning, IE dyno time, you are buying the programming of the map, as well as the ECM key, so that you can do anything at all.

Talk to Al at American Sport Bike, he most likely has the package you need, at a price that will be tought to beat!!
