Author Message   Beachbuell Posted on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 - 04:05 pm:        I finally broke down and put the Buell Race Kit on my 04 XB12R. I did it for the sound more than anything. I'm a bit nervous about losing some low end torque, as that is what I love so much about this bike. The bike is in the shop for some repairs and figured I'd get the race kit installed while its there (for minimal labor charge). I just happen to come across two complete race kits, brand new, in the box, for an unbeatable price. Truthfully, I didn't notice any low-end loss but I did notice the power gain! And the sound is mellow, yet it has stonk! Enjoy!
