Has anybody had their D&D muffler coated by Jet-Hot? Which coating? How much? Turn around time and other useful information would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

Wardog, I had mine Jet-Hot coated sterling silver and it looks fantastic! However, I was quoted at $55 but had to pay $107. I was told 3-5 day turn around but took 2 weeks( and that was because I called them and e-mailed them, not the other way around). Also, it looked as if they had dropped it and tried to fix the dents in the exhaust tips. Others may have had a better transaction and I hope you do as well, I however will not recommend them based off the embarrassment they call customer service and complete lack of professionalism. Have you looked at www.classiccoatings.com. I should have gone there but I was told a quicker turn around time with Jet-Hot plus I had heard relatively good things about them. Best of Luck and hope this helps in some way.

Had mine done over this past winter. Jet Coat did it in 1300 degree sterling. Looks awesome.

Johnny, thanks for the recommendation! I'll check them out in the near future.

I thought that 2 cans of header paint would work, but it's starting to bubble and flake. It was only a temporary fix anyway.

Wardog Classic Coatings is about an hour and a half from me. They are good as well but your turn around time is just as long. Friend of mine had some exhaust parts done this past winter and he waited 2-3 weeks for them. Go with the one thats cheaper, they both do great work.
