Sweet! Is that CF or just black plastic?

Do you need to remove the wheel to install it?

How did you do that tire detailing?

So many questions.

Thanks

Keep the questions coming, i had a thousand and one questions when i first started and every one on this site and the UKBEG site in England have been most helpful. Its a cf hugger, the wheel has to come off to install it, this is a good opportunity to get rid of the belt guards. The tyre detailing is done with a white "paint" in the form of a pen. The pens are very messy to use tho, so i pour a little in to a thimble or bottle cap and apply with an artists fine brush! Every time i apply it i promise this time will be the last , coz its so time consuming. But it looks so good, i always relent!!! Ive tried all sorts of ways to make it more durable, ive even added a top coat of glue sealant!! Nothing works, i suppose because its going on top of rubber,as the rubber flexes the paint ( which has dried ) cracks and falls off. Its a " labour of love" thang.

Cheers Brian, you been racing at the weekend, did you get my PM?

Americanmadexb, dont be put off by the length in the second photo, the hugger has to slide forward a few inches to reach the mounting screws when properly attatched. Compare the two photo's, when fitted, the end of the hugger is just about in the center of the tyre.

Nope, I did not get a PM yet.

We should be picking our race motor up on homecoming weekend June 2-4. We'll go racing
again after I get it back and we get it back in the bike, tuned, and ready. We are really
excited to be getting back in action soon!
