We had a poker run here in Des Moines on 05/21 (Sunday) Was a very fun ride. Benefit was Children Heart Research or something. Well I was riding with a bunch of I4's. Was a 142 mile ride. About the best time that i had ever on a bike. Now having a XB9SX and keeping up with the gsxrs and zx10s was a challenge. But no matter, i rapped out revs every gear, had the corners real tight. For most of the trip i was in the front or right in the middle of the bunch of 18 people riding with us in our group. (the turnout of riders was like 150 plus) I was very pleased with the performance and being able to keep up. Long stretches, not a chance.. hehe.. my max was 120 and they were easily 170 plus. but hilly corners and stuff I was on it and kept up fine. I just want to say I love my bike, it was a great ride.. and i can't wait to do it again. I am welcoming a new bike to my family. I will post pictures when I go to get it after work today.
