Can anyone tell me if the thread on the rear axle is conventional or opposite lock? Thanx in advance. |

Conventional treads on the rear axle. Just the front is left, It has a little graphic right above the axle to remind you. Don't forget loosen the pinch bolts for the axles, 2 in front and one in rear. Put a little anti-sieze on the axles when you put them back in. |

Cheers for the help, Going to fit the Hugger and may just convince myself to remove the belt guards, OR NOT, sod it , they're coming off, but then again....... Dohhh |

Get rid of those stupid belt guards. You will want to after you try to remove the wheel with them on. For me, now that they are off it makes removal/installation so simple. Plus I like the look. Less is more when it comes to design, just my 2 cents. (Message edited by barker on May 22, 2006) |

That really only applies to the '03 models. On the '04+ XBs you can pull the wheel without touching the belt guards. |

Great, Erik & Co. fixed the belt guards. Every day I am on badweb I read something that makes me want to go get a new XB. Now, I got to work on the sweet talk'n' to my wife so I can add to the collection. |
