My 03 is still under warranty and I noticed yesterday I have a hole in my drive belt, looks like a stone puncture. Anyone now if this is covered by warranty? |

I believe if the guards are on the bike it is covered. (remember reading a similar post) daveS would be the man to speak w/ on this issue. i believe he was the one who posted before on it. |

I think that since the belt is a wearable item, it would be up to the dealership. |

My 04 belt was replaced under warranty when it broke on me with 7K on the clock. The first dealership I spoke with was giving me the run around about it, but the second one replaced it with no questions asked. They even gave me the 06 belt with no extra cost to me. |

The factory warranty covers damaged belts as long as the belt guards are in place. Many dealers don't seem to know this, but it's in the HD global warranty manual. |

A couple weeks ago I took a 300$ hit JUST so I wouldn't have to even CALL about warranty work... |
