I bought a used XB12s with miss matched tires. The front is a Michelin Macadam X90 and is brand new. The rear needs to be replaced but I can't find a X90 or X100(which is compatible) in my size. My rear tire size is 180/55r17 I found a 170/60r17 will the size difference cause any major grief?

The 170 is too narrow for the rim.

While you may be able to get someone to put it on the bike, it will not handle properly.

These bikes are at their best with the 180 rear.
