For all of those who are planning to ride out from other areas, there is definetly some rain in the forecast for tomorrow. Possibly some fairly severe thunderstorms. I will be there unless theres going to be anything major. Ill post the forecast first thing tomorrow morning.

How little bad weather?? was great to meet you all. I will post a couple of pictures once I dry out. I think yeags and I earned our bad weather bikers wings today. We had to go north to get home. It was raining pretty hard till Newburgh, We stopped to get some food. By the time we where done eating it had cleared a bit. Hit more rain once we hit the thruway. The we had a nice sunny stretch. I think the gods where lulling us into a false sense of hope, since after the sunny stretch we hit the worse rain storm I have ever ridden in. Lightning, hail, and blinding rain. At least now I can say I have ridden the lightning in the lightning.

According to the GPS, 347.4 Miles(140 of them in rain) Round Trip in 6hr 59mins (Moving time), avg 49.7mph.

We have to do this again (hopefully when there is some better weather).

All this muck is from the lovely storm doon and I rode through...no place to seek shelter from the hail so we said f@#k it and pushed through it...Seriously the worst weather i ever rode in...I know people have been through worse but i'm still new to the game.If you look at the pics above you see my bike at the top of the mtn still clean: )

The group from NewRoc Buell came up route 22, 52 and 301. We ended up in Cold Spring and then down to the bridge on route 9. I have never been on these roads before but I will not miss them next time I head up.

Ditto on what street demon said. We tried to wait the rain out. Hopefully the next one will be better.
