Author Message   Tipsymcstagger Posted on Thursday, May 18, 2006 - 10:13 pm:        I just ordered 4 XB turn signals (Y0503.02A8 & Y0504.02A8) to install on another bike (not a Buell). I want to convert these into running lights as well as turn signals and I like to do things the hard way, so I’m not interested in a “magic box” solution like the Kisan, etc. Just a few questions; has anyone gutted the stock XB turn signal housing to install a dual post terminal? I’ve never attempted to take one of these units apart so I’m not sure how easily they can be dissembled and modified. Are red lenses available for these turn signals? I don’t believe it’s legal to have amber running lights in NY. What model # bulb is used in these turn signals (I believe they are 10 watts, but I’m not certain)?
