Now how does it go? Ride a slow bike fast rather than a fast bike slow?
Had a lot of fun on my 1st track day of the year (May 6th). Was a little rusty (it shows).

PS. I am new here. Buell owner from September 2005. Previously had an SV650S (My 1st bike). Been riding for 2 years now!! Hope to do more trackdays and get faster.

Had a total blast.
The new Pilot Powers really paid off (I didn't crash!!).

Nice bike!
I love the white XB9Rs.
Welcome to the board.
What are your thoughts on SV vs. XB?

Thanks Glitch!
Overall the SV is lightning quick to turn in. Turn in effort for the XB belies its 250GP like geometry. The XB's suspension and brakes are leagues ahead. I was running a stock suspension SV on the track and suspension-wise the XB is a revelation. Bumps that would have me out of the seat on the SV are barely felt on the XB. The XB does stand up on the brakes much more than the SV and I haven't been able to dial it out(though it's a lot less with the Powers than it was with the stock 207s).

Welcome to the Badweb family!

You'll find a lot of Buell racers on this board.

Glad to see another white xb! (white is the fastest color you know!)

I like the white XBs as well. I ran the Pilots until Slaughter recommended the Pirelli Dragon Super Corsas... No more tendency to stand up under braking.

just an observation, you need to get your feet back on the pegs more. You should be on your toes on the pegs.
More like this, it will make a huge difference,

Great shot of you looking thru the corner!

Dave,
Yeah I definitely need to work on body positioning and getting the feet back up. I also tend to dig my heel into the frame. I find this helps me get my knee out. The fun part is to find new ways of getting faster.
