Looking to get the shorties, but in Chicago traffic my clutch hand can get tired. Anyone out there use short levers? I know it will be a bit harder to pull the short lever, but how much harder is it?

I use the shorty and three fingers is perfectly comfortable. As I recall I can get four on it but that's generally not advisable anyway.

HIGHLY recommended product. The craftsmanship is excellent, quality is pretty much perfect...

I have the standard length on mine, but only because my wife's hands are so small and she could use all the leverage she can get. I love them and so does she.
