I received my new LSL steering dampner today. The instructions are pretty lacking.

If I take the front isolator bolt out (to replace it with the one that was provided), do I need to support the motor with a jack?

Sorry for the dumb question.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

I got the damper (spelled correctly) on and everything worked like a charm. I even got to use my buddies new motorcycle jack........new from the box.

I plan on getting the bike out tonight to give it a try.......assuming it doesn't rain again.

On the lowest setting the steering input doesn't appear to be any different it was prior to the damper. However, if you crank it up, it severely restricts the steering.

If you have it set right, you'll not know it's there.

Set it to the minimum that gets the job done. Start at the bottom and work your way up.
