Until the results are posted we could do a little bench racing. Anyone care to give a guess at the following:

Highest HP 12 & 9
Highest Torque 12 & 9
Highest Average Torque 12 & 9
Highest Average HP 12 & 9

I have a feelin' that there will be a bunch of winners. Just depends what you are lookin' for. I think we will definitely get the results before the end of the /strike{week month}year.

Numbers don't mean a lot, except with egos.
You don't ride a dyno sheet.
I would advise one look at the curve and match that to the way you ride.
Unless of course you only ride WFO in a straight line, then Max power is all you need be worried about, but if that's all you're worried about, why'd you buy a Buell?

I predict the D&D will be loudest since the force wasn't there!

Why did I buy a Buell? Because I wanted one but I always want more.

BTW max power does not equal max acceleration. Max average HP would equal the most rapid acceleration. This would also be seen in the great "curve" that it produces.

Lastly I guess you missed the part about bench racing.

Bart

My bench has 95HP with a non-stop curve to red and 85 ft/lbs of flat ass torque curve.
My bench has a Micron.
What's your bench have?

Lets talk torque curves. Now that'd be the dead lift.

I also pick the Micron (on the 12). 96 hp 82 ft lbs.

On the 9 I think the Micron will break 90 hp and around 70 ft lbs.

The pipes that I am very curious about are Jardine and the D&D.

I have seen many dyno's of the D&D and there is always a big jump in the midrange but not in the low and top part of the power band. I am curious to see if it was a fuel issue or just the nature of the pipe.

Also the Jardine sometimes posts great numbers and sometimes they are very dismal. I want to know which way it really is in relation to the other pipes. Just so we have a constant for comparison.

later,
Bart

Yeah, if you guys posting the results are listening ,it would be great if you could post integrals of the curves. Since you have data in excel it shouldn't be too hard. The integral will tell us the area under the curve, which is what most of are are going to be interested in.
